2018 Tempest PAL-24-VSR

Originally designed for the Oil & Gas industry, the PAL-24 was designed to meet the harsh day to day conditions present on the drill site. This fan is made to take any kind of tough love you can think of and still be ready to go. If you dont have the time to baby your equipment, this is the Tempest for you.

• The Tempest PAL-24 features the most robust, solid welded frame of any mid-size mobile fan around. Equipment in many demanding environments is exposed to bumps, scrapes and slams on a regular basis. Thats why weve taken the time to design and manufacture the strongest frame possible. This fan is built to take anything thrown at it from every direction.

• The PAL-24 comes standard with a single speed electric TEFC motor with an output of 1.0 HP or the option of being equipped with a 2.0 HP variable speed motor. This specific motors are both matched perfectly with the fan blades size and pitch to produce the most effective air movement possible.

• These specific wheels will never go flat and are large enough to roll over almost anything youll run into: Rocks, mud, pipe, glass; you name it. Where ever you need this fan, youll be able to get it there quickly and safely.

• The Turbo 2000 Shroud is the same shroud on our line of Fire Rescue Fans used by Firefighters around the world. The redesigned inward curve and front of the shroud increases air velocity by up to 30%. This results in faster, more aggressive ventilation in a smaller shroud profile.

• Due to the applications in which they are needed, Tempest fans feature some of highest CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) measurements possible in a midsize mobile unit; the PAL-24 is no exception. The blades are designed specifically for the motor the fan uses to allow for the greatest performance possible. The enclosed shroud directs the air pattern over greater distances towards the desired location. When looking to ventilate an area in high risk environments, you cant afford not to go with a Tempest.

• Uniquely designed impellers deliver maximum air volume (CFM), velocity and pressure from each Tempest Ventilator. Every size and type of fan features a blade designed specifically for it to deliver the greatest performance possible. Composite blades are much safer than traditional metal blades as they are designed to disintegrate upon impact of any foreign objects. Metal blades may fragment when integrity is compromised, potentially causing severe injury.

• Every Tempest fan grille is manufactured to meet UL & CE safety requirements. These specific standards and measurements ensure that foreign objects wont make their way into contact with the fans blades.

• The Explosion Proof Motor option is rated to operate safely in Class I, Groups C & D and Class II, Groups F & G environments. This engine is also shown with an Explosion proof ON/OFF switch. When dealing with potentially flammable environments, EP is a must. The EP option is only available with the single speed motor configuration.
