The pneumatic mole knife/freshener is setup with a different set of coulter arms that feature a less aggressive angle for tillage, both positioned at the rear. This allows for the option to mount a knife directly in front of the coulter blades or to leave it unoccupied for operation as a strip freshener. If the knife attachment is going to be used, the Pluribus can make a strip up to 10" wide and 7" deep. The design of this unit prioritizes simplicity, featuring easy depth adjustments and in-cab controls for both unit downforce and row cleaners. Additionally, it boasts a reduction in wear points that usually affect the quality of the strip negatively. Additionally, it can apply both liquid and dry fertilizers and can be ordered with various wheel options to accommodate different needs.   The bulkhead plate is designed for clean and straightforward installations. With push-to-connect fittings, it's easy to set up and troubleshoot issues within the air system. The bulkhead keeps everything organized and minimizes the risk of damage to pneumatic hoses. Additionally, there are two integrated holes with grommets to assist with a neat installation for any liquid system.

With our in-cab pneumatic control, you can effortlessly adjust downforce for both the row cleaners and the unit, and conveniently raise the row cleaners when they are not needed. 

• Decrease Adjustments with Preset Coulter Blade Angle

  One of the key components of any strip-till unit is the coulter arms. They carry out most of the tillage, so it's essential to ensure a dependable and consistent blade angle for each row unit to function reliably. By incorporating our tested and trusted blade angle into the coulter arm, we guarantee that the blade angle remains accurate, leading to a more consistent uniform strip. If the angle was adjustable, it can wear and change over time, leading to increased maintenance costs and a reduced performance. If simply freshening isn't enough, this configuration of the coulter arm incorporates a second lower hole, enabling the grower to adjust the coulter to a lower position to be more aggressive.
